Cinema Erotica presents The Rocky Horror Picture Show (1975) — the cult classic that turned sexual liberation, science fiction, horror and rock ’n’ roll into one unforgettable night at the movies.

When newly engaged Brad and Janet become stranded in a storm, they stumble upon the mysterious castle of Dr. Frank-N-Furter. Expecting little more than a telephone, they instead find themselves immersed in a world of extravagant characters, forbidden pleasures and an experiment that will challenge everything they thought they knew about desire.

Directed by Jim Sharman and adapted from Richard O’Brien’s stage musical, The Rocky Horror Picture Show became a cult phenomenon, with Tim Curry’s magnetic performance as Frank-N-Furter at its heart.

This October, Cinema Erotica returns to the film in honour of the late Tim Curry — celebrating a performance and a character that have invited generations to embrace pleasure, difference and the freedom to be entirely themselves.
