Better Conversations: Dating
(Event)
BRUXA x Nocturnal Salon
Hosted by Laura Roscioli & Madelene Kadziela
Sponsored by BRUXA & Moi Magazine
July we welcome Better Conversations: Dating. An exploration of modern dating, inviting us to ask the questions that can go unspoken before we choose to build a life with someone.
This evening is co-hosted by sex writer, podcast host ‘The Sex That Changed My Life’ and founder of Sexy Book Club, Laura Roscioli, alongside Madelene Kadziela, founder of the award-winning intimate care brand BRUXA and the private members' society Nocturnal.
This intimate salon draws inspiration from the work of writers, philosophers, psychologists and cultural thinkers including Esther Perel, Alain de Botton, Anaïs Nin, Nancy Friday, Colette, Ana Huang and others.
Together we'll explore the ideas shaping modern dating; from online dating and first-date etiquette to desire, communication, finances, gender dynamics and what it truly means to build a healthy relationship.
Rather than offering advice or easy answers, we'll explore the questions that shape contemporary relationships and invite you into the conversation.
No panels or speed dating rotations, just thoughtful conversations with fascinating people.
Arrive looking for romance, friendship, community or simply an evening of exceptional conversation.
Open to singles, people in ethically non-monogamous relationships, and anyone curious about modern dating and relationships.
WHEN
Tuesday 21st July, 7-10pm

ABOUT
We're living in an age where we have more ways to communicate than ever before, yet many of us have become out of practice on how to truly converse. Our salon Better Conversations is an invitation to slow down, become curious, and rediscover the art of meaningful connection, one question at a time.
THE NIGHT
Throughout the evening we'll move through a series of themes exploring modern dating and relationships. Each chapter begins with a short introduction before a conversation question is revealed.
Guests are then invited to wander the room, find someone new, and spend the next ten minutes exploring the question together. There is no set seating or formal rotation, simply a room full of curious people discovering new conversations throughout the evening.
