A NIGHT OF EMBODIED PLEASURE, CONNECTION & CARE
Last week, BRUXA hosted an intimate evening in collaboration with Clean Compound and psychologist and sexologist Laura Lee—a gathering devoted to the rituals of sensual care, embodied presence, and reclaiming pleasure as an essential part of wellbeing.
Set inside the beautifully curated space of Clean Compound—a sanctuary for clean beauty, intentional design, and high-performance formulations—the evening was designed to explore what it truly means to honour the body.
We opened the night by addressing something fundamental: what goes into our intimate care products—and why it matters. Many personal care products on the market contain low-grade fillers, synthetic fragrances, and ingredients that simply don’t belong near our most delicate skin. At BRUXA, we’ve made it a non-negotiable to use only skincare-grade, plant-based ingredients. Each of our formulations is crafted with the same care we bring to our rituals of self devotion, touch, and connection.

The evening then unfolded into a guided experience led by Laura Lee, who took guests on a journey through:
– The unspoken sexual scripts that quietly shape how we experience desire
– Practices to welcome pleasure into daily life—not only in sex, but through presence, embodiment, and attunement
– A body scan and breathwork session using BRUXA body oil to anchor into the senses and reconnect with touch
– A shift from surface-level “self-care” to the quieter practice of self-tending
– Learning how to tune into personal desires and express them with grounded softness
It was a night of conversation, community, and deep remembering—of how good it feels to come home to the body.
